Over the years we have mastered our charcoal grilling techniques using a mixture of natural and man made charcoals.
Here at "Teppanyaki Sumiyaki Saito" you can experience a flavor like no other prepared in a way that only we can deliver.
We not only offer "Matsusaka beef," one of Japan's three most prized beef varieties,
we also serve the best seafood including spiny lobster, sea urchin, and abalone, as well as vegetables grown in our own gardens.
Besides our various set menus we also have an excellent a la carte menu.

Our restaurant is popular for anniversary meals or entertaining guests.
In order to guarantee that your meal is as special as your event, we use only the finest Matsusaka beef.
Though we specialize in Matsusaka and Saga beef, we also have a selection of domestically produced branded
and select wagyu beef on offer
for you to enjoy.
Every cow is different, so rather that buying from one region, or even buying one cow,
we instead pick only the best cuts from each cattle we use.
The chateaubriand, a cut that is only 600g per cow.
The "Matsusaka" sirloin with a melting point of 17.4°C, compared to 25.9°C of normal wagyu beef.
And many other cuts such as fillet, "kainomi," tongue, and more which will be on offer as daily specials.
White charcoal sumiyaki
Charcoal grilling, which seals in the umami flavor and meat juices using far infrared radiation,
is an indispensable cooking method to bring out the superb flavors of our high quality ingredients.
We use only white bincho charcoal in our grills and keep them at a set temperature.
This is our secret to bringing out the best in our ingredients.
It is important to grill the meat slowly over time for the far infrared radiation to be effective,
which removes the excess fat leaving only the high quality fat.
By adjusting the distance to the fire based on the position and size of the cut,
we can ensure a crisp surface with a smoky aroma while keeping the inside a rosy pink.
Our master chefs are able to leave only the umami in the meat, meaning that it is delicious even when cold.
